Uncovering Research Trends: A Bibliometric Analysis of Ethical Consumption in Organic Food
摘要
This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the research landscape surrounding ethical consumption in organic food, aiming to synthesize the fragmented literature from 2002 to 2024.
MethodologyThe study utilizes bibliometric analysis techniques, employing the Bibliometrix package, a statistical tool developed in the R programming language, to evaluate significant trends in the literature. A systematic search of the Scopus database ensured the inclusion of relevant publications, while conceptual and social structure analyses revealed the intellectual foundations of this domain.
FindingsThe findings highlight significant themes such as “consumption behaviour” and “sustainability,” reflecting the evolving interests in ethical consumption practices.
OriginalityThis research seeks to consolidate scattered literature on the topic and identify key sources, authors, and documents. By mapping these insights, this study provides a foundational framework for understanding the dynamics of ethical consumption in organic food, serving as a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners interested in sustainable consumer behaviour and ethical considerations in food systems.
