摘要

The mechanical characteristics and microstructure of GPC combined with class F fly ash (FA), Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) and high Calcium ESP (Eggshell powder) are experimentally investigated in this work. It was found that the best combination of FA, GGBS, and ESP was by means of testing the properties of Consistency and Setting time of Geopolymer paste (GP) that were combined with a variety of substitutes between 30% GGBS with 40% FA and 30% ESP to GPC (Geopolymer concrete) boosts the compressive strength after 90 days. After analyzing the GPC, microstructure with SEM, XRD and FTIR tests it was found that a three-dimensional network where an amorphous phase of aluminosilicate forms, SEM photos shed light on a completely packed and cohesive Geopolymer Gel providing an explanation for the mechanical enhanced the characteristics of GPC when combined with FA, GGBS and ESP.
