摘要

The ferrofluid micropump has attracted attention due to its characteristics such as precision and non-contact manipulation, but there are still some challenging scientific issues to be addressed. Based on the characteristics of ferrofluids and the principle of magnetic force driving, a new type of ferrofluid micropump is designed in this article. The dynamic characteristics of the driving interface of the ferrofluid micropump and the performance of the micropump are thoroughly discussed and analyzed. It is found that coal-based ferrofluids have less influence from temperature and magnetic fields, exhibiting better dynamic characteristics at the interface. When the injection amount of coal-based ferrofluid is 10 μL with a gap of 0.5 mm, and the rotating radius of the magnet is 4 mm, the ferrofluid micropump operates with a pumping capacity of 300.13 μL/min at a rotation speed of 32 rpm. The obtained research results provide important scientific insights for the design and application of ferrofluid micropumps.
