Bending of Sandwich FGM Plates with a Homogeneous Core Either Hard or Soft Via a Refined Hyperbolic Shear Deformation Plate Theory
摘要
In this contribution, we are interested in the analysis of the mechanical behavior of the bending of functionally graded material (FGM) sandwich plates using a new refined hyperbolic plate theory (RHPT) with four variables. Sandwich plates with functionally graded faces and both homogeneous soft and hard cores are considered. The presented theory is variational, it does not require a shear correction factor, and gives a parabolic description of the shear stresses through the thickness while satisfying the condition of zero shear stress on the free edges. The number of unknown functions for the present theory is only four, while five or more in the case of the other shear deformation theories.
