Weiterbildung im Kontext von Hochschulbildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung – Nutzung und Wahrnehmung des Angebots aus der Sicht von Lehrenden

The educational concept of education for sustainable development is important in all areas of education. This includes higher education, which is why university lecturers must receive adequate staff training. The article presents the results of a study among university lecturers (N = 313). The majority of respondents have not attended professional development courses with a thematic reference to education for sustainable development and do not consider the range of such training opportunities to be sufficient. Correlations with individual characteristics like gender or discipline are being examined. The results are discussed in particular against the background of findings from participation research and conclusions are drawn for professional development courses for university lecturers.
