Soziale Ungleichheiten in der Beschäftigung mit nachhaltigkeitsbezogenen Themen im Erwachsenenalter
摘要
This article re-analyses data from the adult cohort of the National Educational Panel Study and examines which sustainability-related learning topics adults engage in informally and what role social inequality categories play in this. A total of 17,395 open-ended responses from four waves of the survey were coded and analyzed according to a previously developed category system (n = 6793). The results of the logistic regression analysis indicate that the chances of being involved in sustainability issues depend on gender, age, educational level, income and occupational status. There are also differences with regards to the topics of interest.
