Den Widersprüchen einen Sinn geben: Biografisches Lernen berufstätiger Erwachsener im Kontext der Anforderung von Nachhaltigkeit

Sustainability has a wide range of meanings brought about by competing visions of the future. While adult education can respond with pluralistic programs, it is up to individuals to deal with the contradictions. This article uses two empirical cases to analyse (professional) biographical ways of dealing with the contradictory demands of sustainability. These were interpreted as different forms of learning and reflected with regard to the design of educational programs.
