Online counseling for continuing education can draw on an independent advisory profile, to offer advice-seekers individual approaches for problem-solving, as well as opportunities to developing processes and opportunities for learning in all phases and areas of life. In principle, the entire world in which adults act, think and feel (analog and digital) can form the basis of subjects for possible counseling opportunities. Based on practice-theoretical assumptions on digital interactions, some special features (activation logics; addressed practices; catalysed responses) are reconstructed using qualitative online research on digital documents, and semiotic interaction analysis of an example online portal for further training advice (www.der-weiterbildungsratgeber.de).
