Background <p>Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. This disease is the main cause of death in women. Breast cancer is mainly caused by genetic mutations, particularly BRCA1 and BRCA2, and reproductive status. High body mass index, nulliparity, early menarche, family history of breast and ovarian cancer, late menopause, and postmenopausal hormone therapy are more well-known risk factors.</p> Objective <p>In the past, the genetic syndrome was the leading cause of breast cancer. Still, in modern times, occupational exposure to pesticides, metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and radiation both ionizing and nonionizing, night shift work, and radiation has led to a rise in breast cancer at younger ages. It is yet unclear how the development and spread of breast cancer.</p> Conclusion <p>This review provides an overview of the occupational risk factors, the mechanisms by which they contribute to the development of breast cancer, and insights into approaches to managing breast cancer in the workplace.</p>

摘要

Background

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. This disease is the main cause of death in women. Breast cancer is mainly caused by genetic mutations, particularly BRCA1 and BRCA2, and reproductive status. High body mass index, nulliparity, early menarche, family history of breast and ovarian cancer, late menopause, and postmenopausal hormone therapy are more well-known risk factors.

Objective

In the past, the genetic syndrome was the leading cause of breast cancer. Still, in modern times, occupational exposure to pesticides, metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and radiation both ionizing and nonionizing, night shift work, and radiation has led to a rise in breast cancer at younger ages. It is yet unclear how the development and spread of breast cancer.
