Successful Fertility Outcome with Assisted Reproductive Technology in Serous Borderline Ovarian Tumour: A Case Report and Review of Literature
摘要
Borderline ovarian tumours (BOTs) are frequently found in women less than 40 years when fertility preservation becomes an important issue. Women with BOT maybe infertile before and after treatment is initiated. It is therefore important to counsel women regarding fertility and also collaborate with a fertility specialist to evaluate reproductive health before commencing treatment. We present a case of successful fertility outcome using donor oocyte IVF after fertility-sparing management in a woman with serous borderline ovarian neoplasm with uterine fibroids and poor ovarian reserve. Incidentally, the woman also had a benign breast lump which was managed concurrently.
