<p>In 2024, Pierre-Yves Néron published a path-breaking book, <i>Seeing Like a Firm: Social Justice</i>,<i> Corporations</i>,<i> and the Conservative Order</i>. In this review, I highlight both his worthwhile contributions, as well as concerns with his approach to efficiency, his characterization of the political morality of conservatism, and his overall mode of political-philosophical justification. </p>

In 2024, Pierre-Yves Néron published a path-breaking book, Seeing Like a Firm: Social Justice, Corporations, and the Conservative Order. In this review, I highlight both his worthwhile contributions, as well as concerns with his approach to efficiency, his characterization of the political morality of conservatism, and his overall mode of political-philosophical justification.
