<p>Plant ash, derived from the burning of nutrient-rich plant material, has shown potential as both an alternative fertilizer and a soil acidity corrector. Its application in soil fertility enhancement and nematode management presents a promising strategy to reduce Brazil’s dependence on imported fertilizers while addressing environmental concerns related to ash disposal. This study aimed to evaluate the multiplication of <i>Pratylenchus brachyurus</i> in bean plants treated with different doses of plant ash combined with liming. The experiment followed a completely randomized design with 14 treatments and 6 replicates, assessing both plant growth parameters and nematode reproduction. The results showed that plant ash improved both shoot and root development while significantly reducing <i>P. brachyurus</i> multiplication, with suppression rates ranging from 46.65% to 85.28%. These findings highlight plant ash as a promising tool for managing root-lesion nematodes in bean crops.</p>
