<p>This work describes how water behaves in infiltration situations for unsaturated soils. Richards’ equation is the governing equation for this phenomenon. The Aboodh transform homotopy perturbation method has been used to find the solution of Richards’ equation. This method generates a convergent series solution. The exact solution is compared to the ATHPM solution. MAPLE is used to create numerical and graphical representations.</p>
