<p>In this paper, the stability of a class of discrete-time switched nonlinear systems based on T–S (Takagi–Sugeno) fuzzy model is studied. Two new definitions of slow and fast admissible-edge-dependent weighted average dwell time are proposed, and the stability results under the new switching strategies are provided by the multiple convex Lyapunov functions approach. New stability conditions are offered to ensure the switched system achieves global uniform asymptotic stability. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the validity and superiority of the results.</p>
