<p>In this paper, the concept of numerical scale on double hierarchy linguistic term set (DHLTS) is proposed, and on the basis of which a computational model for DHLTS as well as a decision making method are given. Firstly, the definition of DHLTS numerical scale is proposed, and a series of properties such as ordering and inverse operation of DHLTS numerical scale are investigated. Secondly, the basic operation and related aggregation operator of the double hierarchy hesitant fuzzy linguistic elements are proposed by using the DHLTS numerical scale, and the DHLTS computational model is given on this basis. Finally, a decision making method based on the DHLTS numerical scale is given, and the effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed method is illustrated by examples and comparative analyses.</p>
