<p>All plant models are developed to simulate the plant growth process based on mathematical relationships. The purpose of this article is to address the comments raised by the respected author of the article titled “<i>Comments on a paper published by Ali </i>Shabani et al. <CitationRef CitationID="CR33">2024</CitationRef>: <i>How accurate is the SALTMED model in simulating rapeseed yield and growth under different irrigation and salinity levels? Modeling Earth Systems and Environment.</i>” This article aims to clarify any ambiguities for both the author and esteemed readers. In both the original article and this follow-up, we have indicated that the accuracy of the SALTMED model in simulating rapeseed growth and yield is acceptable and satisfactory. Nonetheless, we think that the points raised are useful for identifying potential issues that could impact the model’s accuracy. These insights will be beneficial for model developers in future improvements.</p>
