Purpose of Review <p> We present a high-level review of the role, impact and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other technologies in clinical decision making of the traumatically-injured patient.</p> Recent Findings <p> We follow the patient from pre-hospital, with several tools that can triage and predict resource needs and risk, to the trauma bay and operating room, to the post-operative and resuscitation phase in the intensive care unit. </p> Summary <p> Various clinical decision support tools exist to help predict mortality risk, coagulopathy and blood product utilization, summarize large data, increase our accuracy in injury recognition on imaging studies, and enhance communication and workflow.</p>
