Purpose of Review <p>Trauma video review is a well-validated way to critically evaluate decision making, and both nontechnical and technical skills during trauma resuscitation. The purpose of this review is to look at the use of video review beyond the trauma bay, specifically in the intensive care unit, and discuss opportunities and barriers to implementation.</p> Recent Findings <p>There is an emerging body of evidence documenting the use of trauma video review in the trauma bay, neonatal intensive care unit, labor &amp; delivery unit, and with increasing frequency in the adult intensive care unit. However, institutions and teams vary widely in how they record episodes of care to later review.</p> Summary <p>There continues to be more widespread use of video review in the intensive care unit setting, and further efforts should be taken to standardize its use as it expands.</p>
