摘要

Although bio-nano-silica derived from rice husks offers significant potential and economic benefits in various industrial applications, as highlighted in numerous laboratory-scale fundamental and individual studies, several challenges limit the industrialization of this material into a valuable commercial product. These challenges are particularly urgent for rice-producing countries, which face large quantities of excess rice husks that often pose environmental pollution risks and are being wasted. The study optimizes the synthesis of bio-nano silica from rice husks by analyzing the economic and technical efficiency of three common nano-silica synthesis processes to determine a suitable industrial-scale implementation strategy. The study aims to provide a foundation for proposing a deployment plan that relies on optimizing consistent quality and purity, adopting sustainable and environmentally friendly production techniques, improving efficiency and productivity, reducing costs, and exploring the potential for large-scale production. This approach will help these countries overcome technical obstacles and establish a consistent supply chain to fully exploit the prospects of silica obtained from rice husks.
