<p>This study investigated the use and perceived utility of lecture capture transcripts among first-year medical students, including those with and without learning disabilities. Findings indicate that 84% of students used transcripts at least rarely, primarily for enhancing comprehension, improving efficiency, and aiding note-taking. While viewing transcripts alongside recordings and searching individual recordings were common, downloading and searching across multiple recordings was less frequent. Students, regardless of curriculum track or learning disability status, overwhelmingly agreed that transcripts are valuable for meeting course goals, preparing for exams, and should continue to be provided.</p>
