摘要

Interprofessional education is mandated for US medical school licensure, yet many colleges struggle to provide meaningful experiences for their students. The activity reported in this short communication demonstrates an opportunity for pharmacy students to develop and provide medical student education, using a Students-Teaching-Students pedagogy. This educational session was positioned within the M2 Transitions course, which bridges the pre-clinical and clinical curriculum of our program. Under supervision of faculty members, pharmacy students created and facilitated active learning stations for medical students embarking on experiential educational clerkships. Medical learners’ and pharmacy facilitators’ perceptions of interprofessional education (IPE) were assessed using the validated Student Perceptions of Interprofessional Clinical Education (SPICE-R) tool.
