摘要

The healthcare environment serves as an intersection for human-trafficking victims and patient-care professionals, necessitating healthcare professional training for victim identification and Management. This systematic review explores common methods of human-trafficking education and training among healthcare professionals with measured outcomes. Of the 10,079 initial citations, the final collection of 46 articles exhibited inconsistencies among human-trafficking educational interventions with the majority prioritizing learning-centric outcomes over patient-centered outcomes, such as victim identification. Based on the literature findings, we offer recommendations to medical educators for human-trafficking training implementation into institutional curricula.
