摘要

This study investigates the dynamic discourse and emotional evolution surrounding Black Myth: Wukong through a multidimensional analysis of YouTube comments (N = 157,483) spanning August 2020 to October 2024. Employing Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic extraction and TF–IDF weighted sentiment analysis, we identify four core thematic trajectories: Mythological Combat, Narrative Context, Intense Gameplay, Community Evaluation. Findings reveal a paradox across cultural contexts: while operational interactions, such as “72 transformations” ability mechanics, lower entry barriers through embodied gameplay rituals, narrative comprehension demands significant pre-existing cultural surplus, creating stratified audience engagement. We refine “techno-cultural hybridity” framework to redefine games as playable semiotic ecosystems, where interactive affordances and community reinterpretation collaboratively transform localized symbols into globally negotiable forms. This process simultaneously enables embodied cultural experience and indicate nested cognitive thresholds (technical mastery verse cultural literacy). Cross-cultural game reception thus emerges as a dialectic between semiotic resistance (preserving narrative authenticity) and platform-driven universalism (adapting to transnational digital consumption patterns). The study advances cross-cultural transmission theory by demonstrating how digital interactivity reconstitutes dynamic cultural discount—transforming passive reception into participatory meaning co-creation, while reinforcing epistemic hierarchies through hybridized demands on audiences’ interpretation.
