Cambiamenti del microbioma intestinale dopo la chirurgia bariatrica nei pazienti con obesità
摘要
Bariatric surgery is a cornerstone in the treatment of severe obesity. In addition to inducing weight loss and improving metabolic outcomes, it significantly alters the gut microbiome composition and function. This review examines the microbiome modifications after the most common bariatric procedures (Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy), highlighting the potential mechanisms and long-term clinical implications.
