Approccio clinico al neonato con atipia dei genitali
摘要
Atypical genitalia in newborns represents a clinical sign of a disorder/difference of sex development (DSD), a rare condition resulting from various underlying factors, including potentially life-threatening adrenal dysfunction. This review outlines a structured clinical and diagnostic approach, including algorithms and reference tables, emphasising the importance of a multidisciplinary team and physiological support in the management of patients with DSD.
