Iponatriemia e cancro
摘要
Hyponatraemia is a rather frequent finding in cancer patients and it is often related to the Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuresis. There is experimental and clinical evidence that hyponatraemia is associated with a more negative outcome in cancer patients. On the contrary, hyponatraemia correction is associated with a longer survival. The choice of the most appropriate treatment in this setting is based on the published guidelines and includes fluid restriction, saline solution infusion, urea, tolvaptan.
