Che cosa non sappiamo sugli SGLT-2 inibitori
摘要
Sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) are drugs used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes that have demonstrated significant cardiorenal benefits. Despite the increasing use of this class of drugs, there is limited data regarding their efficacy and safety in specific conditions and populations such as elderly patients, young patients, pregnant women, and their combination with other therapies. This review addresses the underexplored areas of SGLT2i application by analysing available data and providing perspectives for future research.
