PET/RM nel carcinoma differenziato della tiroide: presente e futuro
摘要
Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (DTC) is the most-common malignant endocrine neoplasm. Although the prognosis of DTC is excellent, some patients show aggressive disease, sometimes metastatic from the onset (locoregional lymph node metastases are present in 20–60% of cases and distant metastases are present in 1–4% of cases); establishing an accurate diagnostic approach that allows for the most appropriate therapeutic procedure is mandatory.
