Soliton-type solutions of the general Chen equation

We consider the general Cheng equation which is a two-dimensional nonlinear dispersive wave equation modeling finite deformations in a prestressed hyperelastic plate. This family generalizes the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation and includes the KdV, Camassa–Holm and Degasperis Procesi general equations. Our objective is the construction of classical (solitons) solitary wave solutions to this equation.
