摘要

This study investigates the performance of a geotechnical microhelical system as an alternative slope stabilisation method using finite element analysis. Findings indicate that the infiltration effect is the primary factor contributing to slope instability at the selected site. By integrating helical reinforcement, slope stability improves as the number of helices along the shaft increases. The analysis further examines deformation and axial force distribution to assess reinforcement efficiency. Results demonstrate that a higher number of helices enhances axial load resistance by increasing the surface area engaged with the surrounding soil, thereby improving frictional and bearing resistance. These findings highlight the potential of the helical system as an effective solution for mitigating infiltration-induced slope failures while minimising soil disturbance compared to conventional soil nailing techniques.
