摘要

In this paper, the potential of quantum latches in revolutionizing computing and unlocking new capabilities beyond classical systems is explored. Efficient quantum implementations of reversible latches, including SR, JK, D, and T, are proposed, presenting a significant advancement in the field. Through comprehensive comparisons with previous designs, these novel latch designs demonstrate superior performance in quantum cost, outperforming existing models in gate count, constant inputs, garbage outputs, and delay. When integrated into reversible sequential circuits like registers, counters, and RAM, these latches play a vital role in minimizing quantum cost and delay. Moreover, their application in quantum random access memory is highlighted, emphasizing their crucial role in efficient data manipulation and retrieval within quantum algorithms. The ability to store and access quantum information reliably and efficiently is fundamental for the progress of quantum computing circuit design.
