The entrepreneurial quotient (EQ): evaluating creativity, risk taking, resilience, and sustainability in modern enterprises

The present study focuses on Gen Z students and the impact creativity, risk- taking, resilience and sustainability have in the future of today’s businesses albeit with an Entrepreneurial Quotient (EQ) study. In this qualitative study of 100 business startup students, semi-structured interviews provided insights into the impact of these entrepreneurial characteristics on the use of technologies based products. Using the Digital Transformation and Technology Adoption Models (DTTAM), the research examines the ways in which Gen Z entrepreneurs assess, scrutinize and implement new technologies in their enterprises. Using a deductive thematic analysis, we seek high-level themes influencing Gen Z entrepreneurship behaviours and adoption strategies. It provides insights into real-life environments and identifies opportunities for the development of new technologies. It describes the characteristics of creativity, risk-taking, resilience and sustainability as these are vital to the process and product of technology adoption, The findings provide insight into how Gen Z is ready for digital transformation and sustainable entrepreneurship in the present business world.
