<p>This study explores the role of entrepreneurship in the tourism and hotel industry, focusing on recovery and growth post-COVID-19. It identifies key themes and future research directions to enhance understanding of entrepreneurial activities in this sector. Employing a systematic literature review (SLR), this research analyzes 68 scholarly articles published between 2019 and 2024. It utilizes bibliometric analysis and tools like Dimensions.ai and VOSviewer to examine keyword co-occurrences and visualize thematic clusters. The study identifies critical themes such as digital transformation, sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurial resilience. It emphasizes the socio-economic implications of tourism entrepreneurship, including its role in economic development and job creation, while proposing future research areas like digital financial inclusion. Findings offer both theoretical and practical insights for industry practitioners and policymakers, highlighting the need for strategies that support innovation and resilience in tourism, ultimately driving economic growth. However, the study is limited to literature from 2019 to 2024, potentially overlooking relevant research. Future studies could broaden the scope to include diverse contexts. To our knowledge this article stands pioneer in conducting research that contributes to the understanding of entrepreneurship in tourism and hotel industry by linking concepts across disciplines and providing a framework for future research.</p>
