<p>Omohyoid muscle syndrome, first reported in Chinese in 1980 by Ye, is a rare disease characterized by a transient lateral neck mass during swallowing. Most known cases are from Eastern Asia, and the pathogenic mechanism remains uncertain. Here we present a case of omohyoid muscle syndrome diagnosed by ultrasound.</p>
