摘要

Purpose of Review: This review presents an analysis of anatomical and clinical studies investigating the morphofunctional characteristics of various structures of the limbic system. Understanding the structural organization and functional interactions of this system allows us to take a fresh look at the underlying mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disorders. Recent Findings: The article reviews the results of various morphological and clinical studies, including information on the architecture and interrelationships of the structures of the limbic system, as well as their changes in various neuropsychiatric disorders. Summary: The generalized results provide information on the role of individual structures of the limbic system in the development of neurological diseases. Modern methods of studying the structures of the limbic system are described.
