摘要

Mythimna separata, commonly known as the northern armyworm, oriental armyworm, or rice ear-cutting caterpillar, is a moth belonging to the Noctuidae family. In this paper, we propose a new dynamical system to explore the dynamics and implications of Mythimna separata outbreaks in crop biomass fields. The model describes the interaction between crop biomass and the fall armyworm using the Caputo fractional-order operator. This operator is not only nonlocal but also captures the memory effects inherent in the dynamical system. We have analyzed the local and global stability of the equilibrium point and established conditions for stability. Additionally, we discretized the system and identified the bifurcation behavior of crop biomass.
