Thresholds and uncertainty in NEET populations: a stochastic model with impulsive perturbations
摘要
This paper proposes a stochastic compartmental impulse model to analyze the dynamics of NEET (Neither in Employment, Education nor Training) populations. Our model incorporates both stochastic perturbations, in order to take into account the uncertainties associated with labor market transitions, and discrete impulses, representing one-off interventions directly affecting changes in the system’s state. The model includes thresholds and conditions for analyzing the extinction or persistence of the NEET phenomenon. Graphical representations illustrate the analytical results.
