Dynamic characteristics analysis and safety evaluation of lifting mechanism for winch ship lift

The dynamic characteristics and synchronous control of hoisting mechanism of large winch ship lift are studied in this paper. According to the characteristics of hoisting mechanism of winch ship lift, such as complex structure, high operation precision, heavy load and large hoisting height difference, the equivalent dynamic equation and virtual prototype model of hoisting mechanism of winch ship lift are established, and the dynamic characteristics of the system under standard working condition, wrong load water depth and partial failure of hoisting wire rope are studied. The results show that the displacement fluctuation, velocity fluctuation and pitch angle of the ship box are larger than those of the normal working condition, and the rack and pinion contact force increases with the increase in the false load, but the contact force of the four sets of rack and pinion is approximately the same under each working condition, which indicates that the stability and safety of the ship box under the false load water depth working condition are reliable. The influence of the failure position and number of the wire rope on the ship compartment is quite different, even leading to the unbalanced load phenomenon and the risk of roll of the ship compartment, affecting the synchronization of the lifting of the ship compartment. Subsequently, speed-position deviation coupling synchronization control can be considered to realize the smooth lifting of the ship compartment, and further improve the safety and stability of the ship lift operation.
