<p>We reported new records for five subtropical <i>Mimosa</i> (Fabaceae) species first collected by the naturalist Friedrich Sellow over 150&#xa0;years ago in the southern Brazilian grasslands. We provided precise geographic data, descriptions, field photographs; and the description of fruits of three species of them for the first time. We also discussed the relevance of these new records for the taxonomy of the&#xa0;genus and the knowledge of endemic, rare species of the <i>Pampa</i> biome grasslands.</p>

摘要

We reported new records for five subtropical Mimosa (Fabaceae) species first collected by the naturalist Friedrich Sellow over 150 years ago in the southern Brazilian grasslands. We provided precise geographic data, descriptions, field photographs; and the description of fruits of three species of them for the first time.
