摘要

Radioactive labeled fibroblast activation protein (FAPI) has shown significant clinical application potential in the diagnosis and treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). Studies indicate that FAPI demonstrates superior sensitivity and specificity in identifying metastatic DTC lesions compared to conventional 18F-FDG PET/CT, particularly in cases of radioactive iodine-refractory DTC (RAIR-DTC). The quantitative parameters of FAPI correlate with patients’ clinical characteristics, such as thyroglobulin levels, providing important information for personalized treatment. Furthermore, FAPI shows promising prospects in targeted therapy for DTC, with preliminary studies indicating its ability to stabilize disease and is well tolerated. Overall, the application of FAPI brings new hope for enhancing the diagnosis and treatment outcomes in patients with DTC.
