The new term of protection provided for in Art. 102^bis(8) CL is linked to the database as such, albeit modified or supplemented, and not to the individual additions and modifications made to the database, i.e. the new term of protection is for the entire database, running from the moment of the relevant investments that substantially modified or supplemented the database.
