<p>In this study, a new type of double Riordan array is defined. The fundamental theorem for them is provided. The group and subgroup structures are investigated. Some isomorphisms from these subgroups to a subgroup of the double Riordan group and the checkerboard subgroup of the Riordan group are given. In addition, a sequence characterization is obtained for them. Finally, the halves and compression of the new type of double Riordan arrays and their characterizations are examined.</p>
