<p>In this paper, an improved parameterized block preconditioner for solving the double saddle point system arising from liquid crystal directors modeling is presented. The algorithm implementation illustrates that the proposed preconditioner can further improve the computational efficiency by dynamically adjusting the iteration parameters. Detailed spectral properties analysis show that the eigenvalues of the preconditioned matrix are highly clustered around 1. Several numerical experiments demonstrate that the proposed preconditioner is competitive with some existing preconditioners.</p>
