<p>We are concerned with the modified Camassa–Holm (mCH)–Novikov equation, which is derived by an asymptotic method from the classical shallow water theory. We study the curvature blow-up of the mCH-Novikov equation by the method of characteristics and present the multi-peakon solutions of the mCH-Novikov equation and Camassa–Holm (CH) type equation. Numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate our theoretical analysis.</p>

摘要

We are concerned with the modified Camassa–Holm (mCH)–Novikov equation, which is derived by an asymptotic method from the classical shallow water theory. We study the curvature blow-up of the mCH-Novikov equation by the method of characteristics and present the multi-peakon solutions of the mCH-Novikov equation and Camassa–Holm (CH) type equation.
