<p>This article introduces a reliable and effective current control technique in a standalone microgrid. Voltage and current regulation in these systems encounters challenges due to nonlinearities and uncertainties, necessitating a robust and consistent control approach. To address this, an innovative control strategy combining extended state observer and synergetic control is proposed to regulate the load-injected current. The control strategy is implemented and evaluated using MATLAB simulation, considering various load types and parametric uncertainties. The simulation results demonstrate the controller’s effectiveness in ensuring the microgrid’s reliability and achieving accurate voltage and current control despite the uncertainties and external disturbances.</p>
