摘要

The present study aimed to investigate the mediating effects of self-esteem and reappraisal on the relationship between professional identity and well-being. A total of 456 Chinese pre-service teachers who responded to the Professional Identity Scale, the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (Reappraisal subscale), the Self-Esteem Scale, the Satisfaction with Life Scale, the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience, and the Flourishing Scale. The results showed that reappraisal and self-esteem partially mediate between professional identity and well-being. The mediation analysis revealed three paths: first, the single mediating path via reappraisal; second, the single mediating path via self-esteem and three, the serial mediating path via the serial mediating path via reappraisal and self-esteem. In conclusion, the enhancement of professional identity, reappraisal, and self-esteem should be prioritized in future well-being interventions to promote health outcomes better.
