摘要

Initial orbit determination for cislunar objects poses challenges due to inherent complexity of underlying dynamics and the potential for unmodeled maneuvers. Orbit determination in multi-body systems limits the use of traditional initial orbit determination methods in these regimes. Unknown maneuvers, typical in space situational awareness applications, further hinder orbit determination without precise knowledge of the target orbit. This work addresses these challenges by leveraging collocation and nonlinear programming to enable accurate initial orbit determination and maneuver reconstruction of active spacecraft. The approach greatly enhances operational capability for initial detection and tracking of objects in cislunar space.
