摘要

Psoriasis is a common inflammatory disorder affecting ≈ 1% of children. Paediatric psoriasis is more likely to involve sensitive facial and anogenital areas than adult disease. Conventional treatment of psoriasis begins with topical agents such as corticosteroids, vitamin D analogues, calcineurin inhibitors, anthralin and coal tar. These agents are limited by cosmetic effects, adverse drug effects and off-label use. Recently developed targeted therapies have emerged as safe and effective topical treatments.
