Adis Summary of Research: A retrospective real-life multicenter study on concurrent oral preventive treatments in patients with chronic migraine treated with onabotulinumtoxinA

摘要

OnabotulinumtoxinA injected into multiple pericranial muscles every 3 months has been approved for chronic migraine prevention. Although effective in most patients, headache reduction with onabotulinumtoxinA alone may not be satisfactory for some. Therefore, it is often used with concomitant oral migraine treatment (CT+M). This Adis Summary of Research summarizes the CT+M usage pattern as well as the efficacy and safety of onabotulinumtoxinA plus CT+M in patients with chronic migraine.
