A comprehensive evaluation, including a detailed history, physical examination, diagnostic testing, and assessment with differentiation of headache phenotypes, is crucial for successful management and prognostication.</p> Summary <p>Headaches following mTBI may result from a whiplash injury and/or cervical spine pathology, which can be underrecognized in conventional TBI care. Greater awareness of whiplash-associated headache, cervicogenic headache, and targeted interventions may improve long-term recovery and reduce persistent symptomatology following mTBI.</p>
